I truly have no words for how lovely La Bionda is. Carla was so sweet and welcoming. I’ve never had someone help so much with a stay. The details in the hotels design are impeccable. The food at breakfast was delicious. I highly recommend staying here!

Everything was perfect.

We were very comfortable in every way. We decided to stay here after reading the excellent reviews and because we fell in love with the photos! Even so, the building, the common areas, and the rooms are even more beautiful in person. There's great attention to detail, and the accommodation is one of the most beautiful and stylish we've ever stayed in. Carla is a wonderful host; from the moment you arrive, she calls you by name and makes you feel at home, not just like "another guest." We will definitely be back!

As Good as It Gets

Some hotels have great design. Some have great food. Some have a wonderful host. La Bionda has all three. From the moment we arrived, we felt like locals who happened to be staying in the most beautiful house in town.

The building itself is stunning, a historic property that’s been thoughtfully brought into the present. Every room, every common area, every corner of the courtyard reflects a distinct and cohesive vision: Mediterranean in spirit but deeply personal. The furnishings, textiles, ceramics, and art aren’t decorative afterthoughts. They feel curated with real intention and taste. You notice new details every day...

What an incredible experience! We wanted to go to SA Tuna and check out Begur. So glad we stayed at La Bionda. We were met by Clara (the owner) helping us with parking. She was so incredibly welcoming and gave us wonderful recommendations around the town. The hotel is worth the trip to Costa Brava alone. SA Tuna was great but La Bionda was probably the cutest and best decorated place I’ve ever stayed...

So special!

Honestly, I don’t even know where to start to do this place justice. It’s an absolutely stunning building with a lot of character that has been beautifully and thoughtfully restored. The space, all the details and the smell (!) is just wonderful. We stayed in Carmen and that room is an absolute stunner - great decor, size, gorgeous bathroom and sunny terrace. We absolutely loved it. The bed is huge and so comfortable - bedding is excellent quality as are all the products in the bathroom (again, that smell!!!)...

Fantastic hotel on the Costa Brava

Everything! The hotel's location is perfect for spending a few days on the Costa Brava. The staff is wonderful and very attentive to detail. The tasteful decor and the quality of the breakfast items are particularly noteworthy. We'll definitely be back!

This was our third stay at La Bionda and it won't be our last as it is one of our favourite hotels. We've stayed in a different room each time and each one is unique in its own way - all beautifully decorated with unique and tasteful finishes. The hotel is wonderfully quiet albeit in the centre of Begur and the breakfast is the best! Carla is a fabulous host and always recommends a new and interesting restaurant to try and is happy to make reservations for you. See you next time!

A really nice stay in a cool place.

The hotel is stylish , peaceful and well located in Begur. Carla is extremely welcoming and helpful… we felt very comfortable from the start… Breakfasts and importantly the coffee are excellent.
We hope to return...

La Bionda is a magic hotel.

Carla and Lola and the all female team are all delightful. Met at the car park as we had booked a reserved space which was a win, the car park is a very short 2 min walk to this lovely place. Relaxed feel, breakfasts are exceptional. Only 7 rooms, we chose Josephine (Baker) which had a square terrace looking back down the hill. It is in the centre of Begur which is a bustling hilltop town with a cultured approach to tourism. We stayed 3 nights and if you go then a massive encouragement to stay with the women at this classy place.

Carla, the owner, is very friendly. She also helps with recommendations on where to go, and even helped us make reservations. The decor is full of thoughtful details, and you feel right at home.
